About My Products

Handmade and Unique

All items are handmade by me in Naarm, Australia. Each piece is crafted from available materials, making most items genuinely one-of-a-kind and unable to be replicated exactly.

Product Descriptions

I do my best to accurately describe and photograph each item. However, as handmade pieces, there may be slight variations in colour, size, or appearance from photos. This is part of the handmade charm, not a defect.

Availability

Items are available while stock lasts. Due to the unique nature of materials I use, sold items typically cannot be remade.

Orders and Payment

Order Acceptance

I reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at my discretion, including if:

• Payment cannot be processed
• Items are no longer available
• I suspect fraudulent activity

Pricing

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and will include GST where applicable. Prices may change without notice, but you’ll pay the price shown when you place your order.

Payment

Payment is required in full before I begin crafting your item. I use secure payment processors and don’t store your payment information.

Intellectual Property

My Designs

All product designs, photographs, and website content belong to me. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without permission.

Your Use

You’re welcome to share photos of your PirateSpirit items on social media. I love seeing them in use! Please tag PirateSpirit when you do so I can see and potentially share too!

Limitation of Liability

As a small handmade business:

• My liability is limited to the purchase price of your item
• I’m not responsible for any indirect damages or losses
• Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected by this limitation

Disputes

Resolution

If you have any issues with your order, please contact me first. I’m committed to resolving problems fairly and quickly.

Australian Law

These terms are governed by Australian law. Any disputes will be handled under Australian jurisdiction.

Website Use

Acceptable Use

Please use my website respectfully. Don’t:

• Attempt to hack or damage the site
• Upload harmful content
• Use the site for any illegal purposes

Third-Party Services

My website uses Google Analytics and may link to external sites (like shipping providers). I’m not responsible for their privacy practices or content.

Changes to Terms

I may update these terms occasionally. The new version will be posted here with a new date. Continued use of the site means you accept any changes.

Cause Partnerships

When I’m running campaigns supporting specific causes, the percentage donated and recipient organisation will be clearly stated. Donations are made after the campaign period ends.
